Grayson and I have been having some bonding time since I was gone last weekend. After nap, he asked if he could take pictures with a (un-audible) camera. Having no idea what he was asking to take pictures with. We have lots of cameras. He takes me downstairs where I have some old film cameras.

He points to an old film camera that my grandpa had passed down. We grabbed it and I said let’s go take pictures.

He could have care less that there wasn’t film.

I wanted to get some good portraits of him so I grabbed my 50mm prime lens. A prime lens has only one focal length so you’re limited on the type of photos you can take, but it takes great portraits.

The guy’s little big boy personality shines through. I am always corrected when I call him my little boy.
