I hated brussels sprouts as a kid. What was missing was a heavy dose of bacon. These are a favorite of mine on the grill. They’re super easy to make and everyone gets their veggies.

  • 1lb bacon diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3lb of brussels sprouts quartered
  • cast iron skillet
Coals should be hot and white. Move coals to one side of the grill.
Add your bacon first. Distribute and break apart.
Once the bacon has started to get a crust, add the onion
Stir onion and bacon. Once the onions are start to get translucent add the brussels sprouts.
Stir and let the sprouts get to know the onion and bacon. They’re going to make a great team.

Pairs well with a couple of brats.
