A decade ago, before cell phone cameras were as great as they are today, I was hauling around my Canon Rebel to family events and vacations. I really missed the deliberate part of setting up a photo, tinkering with color profiles, and capturing the image.

In the beginning of 2023, I purchased a Sony Alpha 6300, even got a new battery and film for my Canon AE-1 (I am still finishing the roll). The hardest part is to remember to bring the camera or deciding to do I really want to haul around a large camera compared to this slim phone?

It was a mix bag. Some of these images were shot on the camera and some on the phone. Looking forward to capturing more in 2024.
